A Letter from Renew
We are reaching out to let you know that we miss seeing you at Renew. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, we are working hard to put procedures in place to safely reopen as soon as possible. Our target reopening date for clients is Thursday, June 4, 2020, pending state guidance . In the meantime, our staff is in the office and available by phone or video visit to continue to care for your healthcare needs.
Our providers and staff will be diligently working to ensure the safety of those who seek care in our office. We are continually in contact with the local and national health authorities to ensure that proper protocols are in place to protect our patients. We are taking the following precautions as well as requiring participation from our patients to minimize potential exposure and ensure a safe environment for you.
What can you expect when we reopen?
Cleaning. We will be doing extensive cleaning in between each client. Our client rooms and equipment will be disinfected between each client and areas of high traffic will be periodically disinfected throughout the day.
Social Distancing. We are encouraging all clients to wait in their car and contact use via phone once they arrive at our office. We will be happy to call you back or text you when we are ready to see you for your appointment. If you are not able to wait in your car, our waiting area will be rearranged to put extra distance between seats to maintain the current social distancing guidelines.
Limiting Number of Appointments. We will temporarily be limiting the number of appointments to reduce the number of clients in the office at the same time. If you have an appointment scheduled in the next 30-60 days, it may have to be rescheduled to accommodate these changes. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience that this may create. We will make every attempt to accommodate everyone and reschedule visits for as soon as possible.
Screening Clients. We will screen all clients prior to their visit using a COVID19 screening questionnaire and will be closely monitoring temperatures prior to admitting clients into the office. If you have an elevated temperature you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.
Screening Staff. Staff will also be monitored daily for symptoms of COVID19. Any staff member exhibiting symptoms or who has come in close contact with someone positive for COVID19 will be quarantined according to the CDC guidelines.
What do we expect from our patients?
Wear a Mask. All clients will be required to bring a mask from home and wear it during the entire time in our office. Masks must cover both the nose and mouth. Our staff members will also be wearing masks. This is for your protection and the protection of others because approximately 25% of patients carrying COVID will not have symptoms until several days after they have contracted the virus.
No Visitors. Visitors, including children, will not be permitted to accompany clients into the office for appointments. Exceptions may be made if the client is a minor.
Stay Home and call us to reschedule your appointment if you are sick. Clients experiencing fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, body aches, or gastrointestinal symptoms will not be permitted into the office. Please contact your healthcare provider as soon as possible if you develop any of these symptoms to get proper guidance regarding evaluation and treatment.
We want to stay connected with you and look forward to seeing you again in our office soon. We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation as we navigate through this new territory. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns. Your health and wellbeing continue to be our top priority.
