Microneedling

The SkinPen uses tiny needles to create microinjury to the skin which promotes collagen production, leading to firmer, smoother, and softer skin. Collagen is a protein that helps to keep the skin looking youthful. An increase in collagen production reduces fine lines and wrinkles, acne scaring, age spots, skin pigmentation issues, and pore size. Treatments typically cause redness and mild swelling for 24-48 hours. Although some results may be immediate, most clients see noticeable results 4-6 weeks post treatment. Treatments should be scheduled every 4-6 weeks until desired results are achieved. A minimum of 3 treatments is recommended.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP is a component of blood that contains proteins, including growth factors and cytokines. These proteins help to build collagen and increase cell reproduction to promote collagen production, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and tighten the skin.

Blood is drawn and spun down in a device called a centrifuge which separates the plasma from the whole blood. The plasma is applied to the treatment area at the end of the microneedling treatment. Hyaluronic acid and Botox can be added to PRP to hydrate and tighten the skin further, enhancing the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.
